Luftwaffe Field Divisions – K.St.N. List
The Luftwaffe Field Divisions were authorized in 1942. Between 1942 and 1943 twenty-two division were raised. They can be considered a failed experiment and by the end of 1943 what remained of most of these divisions was absorbed into the Army. This is a continuation post to the last post on the 17th Luftwaffe Field Division. These documents show the reorganization of the 16th, 17th and 18th Luftwaffe Field Divisions in January of 1944. There are K.St.N. lists for each of the divisions and there is also a gliederung for the 17th.
